Upcoming Performances

[Title Of Show]
Theatre For Thought Production
A Musical By Jeff Bowen & Hunter Bell
Directed by Danny Kapinos
Music Directed by Aaron Kaplan

This musical theatre comedy will be performed at the Community Arts Center on February 2, 3, and 4 at 7 pm. Tickets are $22 in advance or $25 at the door, plus a $1 convenience fee.

This one-act musical, recommended for mature audiences, chronicles its own creation as an entry in the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and follows the struggles of the author and composer/ lyricist and their 2 actor friends during the initial brief (3-week) creative period, along with subsequent events leading up to the show’s production. This show is recommended for audience members 18 years and older.

Our production will be followed by a talk-back led by the production staff. Together, our artistic team and the audience will discuss the artistic process, and challenges of putting together theatre during COVID. We will also touch on the survival and change of the arts during the pandemic and any other arts questions and topics driven by our audience. As always, our hope is that our Theatre For Thought show selection helps our community focus on an important topic, and starts a conversation that will extend outside the theatre walls.
