Debra Saper
Fitness Manager – Personal Training

Debra pursued a career in personal training because she wanted to combine her love for helping others with her passion for health and fitness. When she personally began on a path of fitness, Debra focused on all that she would gain from making fit choices such as stress reduction, confidence, strength, good health, and a positive mindset. Your thoughts create your reality, so it’s critical to maintain an optimistic and empowered mindset. Debra looks forward to helping clients begin or continue on their fitness path and helping coach them to have the right mindset.

Adrian
ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer
Fitness has been a part of Adrian’s life ever since he started playing sports in high school. It has allowed him to stay active and enjoy activities with his family. Helping people reach their physical potential and working with them so they can make their lives more fulfilling and enjoyable is his true passion. Adrian uses a common-sense approach to help people perform everyday activities in a safe manner and not be in pain. When he is not training, Adrian spends time working out, taking long walks with his wife and dogs, getting together with his family, especially his grandkids, and relaxing in his backyard. Alana
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Alana has always had a deep passion for health and understanding the self-healing nature of the body. She grew up with a background in dance and went on to receive her BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Upon graduating, she taught and performed professionally throughout Chicago and eventually made her way into the fitness world as a Fitness Instructor. She trained tradesmen to condition their bodies to prevent injuries while on the job, lose body fat, and improve their eating habits. She then became a NASM-certified personal trainer and is currently working with clients of all backgrounds to help them achieve their unique fitness goals in a safe, efficient manner. Alana is always learning new techniques and methods that promote longevity and injury prevention. She loves building a strong personal connection with her clients and strives to help each client discover a passion for movement.
Andy
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Andy’s passion for fitness began early when he was attending the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. His experience with fitness grew exponentially when he joined the Illini Powerlifting Club at his university. Through personal experience and tips for veteran lifters, Andy developed his specialty in building strength and muscle. He believes that fitness is an essential part of day-to-day activity and that fitness can educate individuals about goal setting and hard work.
Ark
ISSA Certified Personal Trainer
Ark is an International Sports Sciences Association Master Coach and a lifelong practitioner of martial arts. Ark’s approach to coaching has a multidimensional basis that integrates three essential aspects of human health: physical, emotional, and spiritual. It aims at providing everyone with the knowledge on how to lead a balanced, dynamic, and satisfying lifestyle. Such an approach further combines the latest discoveries in the field of fitness and science with the ancient and well-proven principles found in the medical books of India (Ayurveda). Ark’s clients are offered a methodology for genuine fitness to “Feel the Power!” as he says. He specializes in body type-specific strength training and combative training.

Christy has been a personal trainer for 15 years. She enjoys training people of all ages and levels. The form is very important to her and she tries to educate her clients on how form can change an exercise. As her clients gain strength, she challenges them in new ways so they progress in their strength. Christy finds that helping her clients meet and maintain their fitness goals is very important and gratifying. Christy also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.

Debbie has been a personal trainer for over 10 years with medical specialty certification. Fitness has always been a part of Debbie’s life and she hopes to encourage others to do the same. Her philosophy on personal training is to enhance clients’ physical conditions based on their goals, abilities, and desires. Debbie’s diverse background in all aspects of physical fitness provides her the ability to customize and modify programs to maximize one’s capabilities. Her motto is to never give up. Felix enjoys being fit and staying healthy. Strength and muscle building are his specialties. Felix loves helping his clients reach their goals and to help them understand the fitness world. Some of his favorite activities are GoRuck challenges and how many tacos he can eat. “Success at anything will come down to focus and effort, and we control both.”

With over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, including over 10 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Hannah is passionate about helping people achieve their fitness and healthy lifestyle goals. She focuses on a positive supportive environment, proper technique, functional exercises, and healthy lifestyle education to help clients achieve success. Hannah loves connecting with a diverse clientele from ages 18 to 90 and creating personalized exercise programs for each client. She specializes in post-physical therapy, post-injury or post-surgical, women’s health and fitness, and senior health and fitness. As a Health and Wellness Coach, Hannah offers additional evidence-based methods to help clients achieve their short-term goals and transform them into long-lasting healthy lifestyle habits.

Ivan’s passion for fitness and training begins with a lifelong love of outdoor sports and activities and has been combined with his interest in occupational fitness. Ivan helps people get and stay healthy to enjoy long successful careers in physically demanding occupations.
Ivan enjoys applying heart rate monitoring data to customize fitness programming to assist individuals in achieving their wellness and training goals. Ivan combines creative exercise groupings with high-intensity interval training to build programming that is challenging, fun, and highly effective. Ivan is a group fitness instructor on the schedule with cycle classes.

Katie is a Post Rehab Specialist who enjoys helping clients transition from physical therapy. Katie also has a golf certification to help condition golfers to perfect their game and prevent back pain. Katie is an A.E.A. Aqua fitness instructor and teaches aquatics classes on our group exercise schedule.

ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor
Sheila has been in the fitness industry for 25 years. She began as an instructor and then followed her passion to work with clients individually as a personal trainer. Sheila is passionate about challenging her clients to achieve new levels of fitness that may not have seemed possible. Improving one’s health and fitness is about stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Sheila gets great satisfaction from helping people of all different abilities achieve their fitness goals.
In her personal experience, Sheila had always enjoyed running and questioned her ability to compete in the sport of triathlon. She achieved that goal and is always looking for new ways to challenge her own fitness level. Sheila believes if you never doubt your capabilities, anything is attainable. Sheila also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.

Wendy’s passion for health and fitness started in college but did not evolve into a fully dedicated lifestyle until after her first child. Her goal is to support, motivate, and empower her clients and students to become the healthiest version of themselves. Wendy’s strengths include the ability to connect with people wanting to embark on a fitness journey, help change unhealthy habits, cope with an injury, and maintain a relationship with people wanting to build on their foundation of functional fitness.
In addition to over 25 years of experience in fitness, and despite her own back issues, including a partial fusion, she competed in triathlons for 9 years. Wendy tries to create a fun yet professional environment where people are safely challenged and feel accomplished after every workout. She believes it is never too late to improve one’s health. Wendy also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.
Jenay Gordon

Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Equipment Certified, 200 hr. E-RYT Yoga
Jenay has over 20 years of teaching experience in multiple environments. Her education and passions stem from the arts. When Jenay first stepped on a yoga mat she knew this was her true creative calling. Since receiving her 200-Hour-E-RYT Yoga training, she has never stopped pushing herself to learn and grow in the fitness industry. With immense respect for each format, she is able to produce innovative classes and training for her clients. Jenay believes both yoga and Pilates are the foundations of alignment, safety, strength, and breath. She uses this not only as a teacher but in everyday life. Jenay also teaches group exercise classes on our schedule.

Kortnee has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She is well-rounded and can contribute in many different formats. She is now looking to expand her experience and train others in Pilates reformer. Kortnee currently teaches Mat Pilates and Zumba® classes on our group exercise schedule.
