The Friends of the Parks Foundation presents Battle of the Bands! It’s an all day competition held at Ivy Hall School. Band members must be between the ages of 12 – 21, with half the band’s members being no older than 19. The winning band will get a spot to compete in a regional competition in July. The winner of the regional competition will compete in a statewide competition at the Illinois State Fair in August. A sound system will be provided; however, band members must supply all musical instruments. Rules and regulations apply.
